Lead Residential Electrician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Residential Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of residential electrical experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage residential projects from start to finish. You’ll be responsible for overseeing residential installations, ensuring strict compliance with electrical codes, and troubleshooting complex systems. Familiarity with modern technology and digital tools is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

● Lead and oversee residential electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades
● Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes
● Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes
● Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform routine maintenance
● Mentor and supervise junior electricians and apprentices
● Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project managers to meet
deadlines
● Maintain accurate documentation of work completed and materials used
● Use mobile apps and digital tools for job tracking and communication

Qualifications:

● Minimum 5 years of residential electrical experience
● Valid electrician license or certification (as required by state/local
regulations)
● Strong knowledge of residential wiring, service upgrades, and lighting
systems
● Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
● Proficient with smartphones, tablets, and basic technology tools
● Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
● Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

Schedule:

● 8 hour shift
● Monday to Friday
● On call
● Some overtime may be required during peak seasons
● Weekends as needed
